Transform Your Life with Therapy and Coaching

Woman counseling couple in a cozy setting.

Which Support Is Right for You?

Therapy, adult autism evaluations, and identity-renewal coaching offer different paths toward greater clarity, confidence, and well-being.

Therapy

Therapy is a healthcare service provided by a licensed mental health professional. It can help you process trauma, treat mental health concerns, improve emotional well-being, and change patterns that interfere with your daily life or relationships.

This therapeutic approach may include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions tailored to your individual needs.

Adult Autism Evaluation

An adult autism evaluation can help you gain insights into lifelong patterns related to communication, relationships, sensory needs, emotional regulation, routines, masking, and identity.

The evaluation involves a comprehensive review of your experiences, strengths, challenges, and developmental history. When appropriate, it may provide diagnostic clarity and personalized recommendations for support.

Identity-Renewal Coaching

Identity-renewal coaching is a collaborative, future-focused partnership that helps you clarify your goals, rebuild confidence, strengthen resilience, navigate life transitions, and create a meaningful next chapter.

It is important to note that coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, nor does it provide psychotherapy or replace necessary mental health treatment.

Which Option Is Right for Me?

  1. You may benefit from therapy if you are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, substance-use concerns, relationship difficulties, significant emotional distress, or other challenges requiring clinical treatment.
  2. Consider an adult autism evaluation if you have long felt different, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or are uncertain if autism may help explain your experiences.
  3. Identity-renewal coaching can help if you are emotionally stable and ready to focus on personal growth, confidence, relationships, life transitions, career goals, or creating your next chapter.

Not sure where to begin? During your initial consultation, I can help you determine whether therapy, coaching, or another option best fits your needs and goals.

Trauma Therapy | PTSD, Anxiety & Substance Use Treatment | Dr. Linda Nicole

Dr. Linda Nicole Therapy and The Life Rebuild & Reset Coach offer valuable support through adult autism evaluation and identity-renewal coaching, helping you uncover your unique strengths and talents so you can achieve your goals and live your best life.

Why Work with a Therapist?

Seeking therapy is not a sign of weakness—it's an investment in your mental health, relationships, and overall well-being. Many people wait until life feels overwhelming before reaching out, but therapy and coaching can provide valuable support whether you're in crisis, navigating a major life transition, or simply wanting to better understand yourself.

At Linda Nicole Therapy, PLLC, I provide evidence-based, trauma-informed psychotherapy in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. Together, we'll identify patterns, build practical skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. We also offer adult autism evaluation services and identity-renewal coaching to aid in your journey.

You May Benefit from Therapy If You Are:

Healing from Trauma or PTSD

Traumatic experiences can affect your emotions, relationships, physical health, and sense of safety. Therapy can help you process those experiences, reduce distress, and regain a sense of control.

Feeling Anxious or Overwhelmed

Persistent worry, racing thoughts, panic attacks, perfectionism, or difficulty relaxing can interfere with daily life. Therapy and coaching help you understand anxiety and develop effective coping strategies.

Experiencing Depression

If you're struggling with sadness, loss of motivation, hopelessness, low energy, or feeling disconnected from life, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and move forward.

Recovering from Substance Use

Recovery involves more than stopping substance use—it includes healing the underlying emotional pain, trauma, and patterns that contribute to addiction. Therapy supports long-term recovery and relapse prevention.

Navigating Relationship Challenges

Whether you're experiencing conflict with a partner, family member, or friend, therapy can help improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and strengthen relationships.

Struggling with Attachment or Childhood Experiences

Early relationships shape how we connect with others. Therapy can help you understand attachment patterns, improve emotional security, and build healthier relationships.

Going Through a Major Life Transition

Career changes, divorce, grief, retirement, caregiving, becoming an empty nester, or other life transitions can bring uncertainty. Therapy provides support and practical tools for navigating change.

Wanting Personal Growth

Therapy isn't only for times of crisis. Many people seek therapy and coaching to increase self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, strengthen resilience, and live more intentionally.

What You Can Expect

Therapy is a collaborative process tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together we will:

  • Develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and emotions.
  • Identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck.
  • Learn practical coping and emotional regulation skills.
  • Build healthier relationships and boundaries.
  • Strengthen resilience and self-confidence.
  • Create meaningful, sustainable change.

Every treatment plan is individualized because healing is not one-size-fits-all.

Understand Yourself More Clearly

Two women having a friendly conversation.

Adult Autism Evaluations | Clarity, Identity & Personalized Recommendations | Dr. Linda Nicole

Why Consider an Adult Autism Evaluation?

  • You may have spent years feeling different, misunderstood, overwhelmed, or uncertain why certain aspects of life seem more challenging for you than for others.
  • Many individuals cope by hiding their struggles, adapting to external expectations, or working hard to present a facade that everything is fine.
  • An adult autism evaluation can provide insights into lifelong patterns related to communication, relationships, sensory needs, routines, emotional regulation, masking, burnout, and identity.

I offer comprehensive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming adult autism evaluations within a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

The aim is not to change who you are but rather to help you understand yourself more clearly while also considering options for identity-renewal coaching.

You May Benefit from an Adult Autism Evaluation If You:

  • Have Always Felt Different
  • You may have struggled to navigate social expectations, felt a disconnect from others, or questioned why relationships and daily interactions demand so much effort.

Mask Your Natural Responses

  • You may consciously observe social behavior, rehearse conversations, imitate others, suppress your needs, or alter your self-presentation to achieve acceptance.

Experience Sensory Sensitivities

Certain sounds, lights, textures, smells, crowds, or environments may feel overwhelmingly intense, distracting, uncomfortable, or exhausting.

Become Overwhelmed or Burned Out

Years of masking and adapting to caregiving roles or meeting others’ expectations can lead to exhaustion, shutdowns, emotional overwhelm, or a decline in functioning.

Rely on Routines and Predictability

Unexpected changes, transitions, interruptions, or uncertainty might trigger significant stress and complicate your emotional regulation.

Have Intense Interests or Areas of Focus

You might find yourself deeply engrossed in specific subjects or interests that bring comfort, joy, expertise, or a sense of identity.

Struggle with Emotional Regulation

You may experience intense emotions, struggle to pinpoint your feelings, have shutdowns or meltdowns, or need significant recovery after stressful experiences.

Have Received Other Diagnoses

Some adults—particularly women and those who mask their behaviors—may initially be diagnosed with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, or personality disorders before autism is considered.

Question Who You Really Are

After years of adapting to societal expectations, you may feel disconnected from your true identity, unclear about your needs, or unsure which aspects of yourself are genuine.

What You Can Expect

Your evaluation will be tailored and may include:

  1. An initial consultation to discuss your questions and goals.
  2. A comprehensive clinical and developmental interview.
  3. Exploration of communication, relationships, sensory experiences, routines, interests, masking, and emotional regulation.
  4. Comprehensive adult autism evaluations may include the ADOS-2 Module 4, ADI-R, SRS-2, and MIGDAS-2
  5. Review of relevant records when available.
  6. Input from a trusted family member or another person, if appropriate and with your permission.
  7. Consideration of trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other experiences that may overlap with autistic traits.
  8. A feedback session to discuss the findings.
  9. A written report with individualized recommendations when suitable.

Each individual’s experience is unique. Your evaluation will account for your strengths, challenges, history, culture, identity, and personal circumstances.

What an Evaluation Can Provide

An adult autism evaluation may help you:

  • Understand lifelong patterns that have previously felt confusing.
  • Recognize your strengths, needs, and natural ways of functioning.
  • Make sense of masking, sensory overwhelm, shutdowns, or burnout.
  • Develop greater self-acceptance and self-compassion.
  • Communicate your needs with greater clarity.
  • Identify helpful accommodations and support.
  • Improve relationships through enhanced mutual understanding.
  • Receive diagnostic clarification when clinically appropriate.
  • Move forward with personalized recommendations, possibly through therapy and coaching.

You Are Not Broken

  • Autism is not a flaw or something that diminishes your capabilities or worth. It can be a superpower.
  • Receiving a diagnosis doesn’t alter who you are; instead, it can offer a clearer perspective in understanding the person you’ve always been.
  • If you’ve spent years pondering why life feels more difficult than it should, know that you don’t have to seek answers on your own.

Take the Next Step

Trauma Recovery & Life Coaching | Identity, Resilience & Personal Growth | Dr. Linda Nicole

Why Work with a Trauma Recovery Life Coach?

  • Life doesn't always unfold as we envision.
  • Whether you're rebuilding after trauma, navigating a major life transition, recovering from burnout, maintaining sobriety, or striving to become the healthiest version of yourself, coaching offers a supportive partnership focused on growth, clarity, and action.
  •  At Renewal Haven Coaching, I provide evidence-informed, trauma-informed life coaching, including identity-renewal coaching designed to help adults move beyond survival and create meaningful, lasting change. Together, we'll identify obstacles, develop practical strategies, strengthen resilience, and build the life you want.

Coaching is tailored for individuals who are emotionally ready to focus on personal growth, future goals, and creating positive change.

  • It's important to note that while coaching and therapy both aim to improve well-being, coaching is not psychotherapy and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.

You May Benefit from Coaching If You Are:

  • Rebuilding After Trauma: Healing doesn’t cease once the crisis ends.
  • Rebuilding Confidence: Building experiences, rediscovering identity, and creating a fulfilling future after life’s challenges.
  • Recovering from Burnout: If you’ve devoted years to caring for others, you may feel emotionally drained or uncertain about the future.
  • Navigating Major Life Transitions: Whether it's divorce, career changes, retirement, or other significant shifts, coaching provides practical guidance and support during these pivotal moments of life.
  • Building Healthier Relationships: Understanding oneself is fundamental to cultivating healthy relationships. Coaching can enhance your communication skills, establish healthy boundaries, improve emotional awareness, and foster more secure relationship patterns.
  • Maintaining Recovery: Recovery is about crafting a meaningful life—not merely avoiding relapse. Coaching aids individuals in strengthening resilience, establishing healthy routines, clarifying personal values, and consistently moving toward long-term wellness.
  • Strengthening Self-Confidence: Many struggle with self-doubt or feeling 'stuck.' Coaching helps identify strengths, challenge limiting beliefs, and build confidence through intentional actions
  • Discovering Your Purpose: Sometimes life can seem successful from the outside but feel unfulfilling internally. Coaching helps clarify values, identify passions, and create a life that aligns with your purpose.
  • Creating Lasting Personal Growth: You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from coaching. Many clients seek greater confidence, stronger relationships, healthier habits, and improved work-life balance.
  • Coaching helps restore balance, set healthy boundaries, and reconnect with what truly matters.

What You Can Expect: Coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused partnership customized to your goals. Together we will:

  • Clarify your personal vision and goals.
  • Identify beliefs or habits that may be keeping you stuck.
  • Build confidence and emotional resilience.
  • Strengthen communication and healthy boundaries.
  • Develop practical strategies for lasting change.
  • Increase self-awareness and personal accountability.
  • Celebrate progress while continuing to grow.

Every coaching plan is personalized because your journey is unique.

My Coaching Philosophy: I believe that lasting transformation occurs when we understand our past while intentionally creating our future. My coaching approach integrates insights from attachment science, behavioral science, neuroscience, positive psychology, emotional resilience, habit formation, goal achievement, strengths-based coaching, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Rather than merely offering advice, I partner with you to uncover your strengths, develop practical strategies, and facilitate sustainable change that aligns with your values.

Coaching May Be Right for You If You Want To:

  •  Build confidence after trauma or adversity.
  • Create healthier relationships.
  • Improve emotional resilience.
  • Strengthen boundaries.
  • Navigate life transitions.
  • Reduce stress and prevent burnout.
  • Clarify personal or professional goals.
  • Create healthier daily habits.
  • Maintain long-term recovery.
  • Live with greater purpose and intention.

What Makes My Coaching Different?

As a Doctor of Social Work (DSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Independent Social Work Clinical Practice (LISW-CP), behavioral health researcher, and trauma recovery life coach, I integrate behavioral science, attachment theory, and evidence-informed strategies into my coaching practice. My approach combines compassion with practical action, helping clients understand not just what to change but also why lasting change truly occurs.
